Through hands on facilitation & wide dissemenation through ART we can change the world!
American Inner City Community Organizations needs are growing and grants are shrinking. Electric Bills, Lack of Vocational Training staff, free programs and much more is needed. A coalition of Community & Sustainable Organizations have created a free "suitcase" program that any organization can implement right way. Including programs for Health & Wellness, Community Gardens, Renewable Energy Education and Clean Technology Vocational Training. It's organized so that even someone who knows nothing about any of these subjects can start to deliver it immediatly. The program also offers support in delivering the program virtually and have access to US Clean Technology job placement agencies.
REAL Examples of need: A birthing clinic in America where the Electrical grid is faulty and the short term power outages are weekly! - A free clinic in Los Angeles that can barely afford their electric bill. - A 30 year old vocational training center in Chicago, closing due to lack of funds to re-train electricians back into the workforce.
We have created a immediate implementation Program to put programs in Los Angeles, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland and New York in 2013, at local community organizations. The program features HIP HOP & ELM performances, featuring community leaders, celebrities and SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY & CAREER DAY CLINIC at a local organization and then immediate implementation of programs training to Community Organization Staff. This will have a GREAT impact on momentum of urban renewal using Sustainble Technologies.
Our GREEN PANTHERS Youth group will be leading the way by showing their conterparts in other cities programs they have including solar powered media & green jobs creation!
"In a few decades, the relationship between the environment, resources and conflict may seem almost as obvious as the connection we see today between human rights, democracy and peace." - Wangari Maathai
We feel the greatest hope for fundamental change starts with the foundation for the future -- our youth -- so the Food Fight team combined music and film with a school curriculum, to help teachers engage students on the most pressing issues we face, in a unique way. If we care about our kids, ourselves, and our planet, it's time to expose the truth on a broader scale, and hope enough Food Fighters step up to make the changes we need. Earth Amplified and New Message Media are proud to announce the launch of a comedic musical video, called Food Fight, and the accompanying school curriculum, designed to teach teens online and in the classroom about the realities of our food system. Watch and Share!

1Hood Media Academy is a tool to help young people critically analyze messages, broaden their experience of media, and develop creative skills in creating their own media messages. Media literacy is a means of educating young people on the effects of media societal perception, and more specifically, on how it shapes the way young people view “reality”. We explore the constant bombardment of media images and how these images shape youth perception of self, parents, community, and the world. We educate young people on the fallacies involved in the utilization of certain images and how an incorrect, warped perception of themselves is formed, as well as, how to counteract the effects.
